A Fossil’s Milk

A Fossil’s Milk is a series of drawings and accompanying text piece about parthenogenesis, a form of asexual reproduction that occurs between female lizards without the need of a male. The drawings play on the ways in which fantasy and narrative complement science and history, creating biological paradoxes about reproduction and evolution. The drawings and text piece are inspired by primordial desert landscapes and the concept of eternity, while imbuing a narrative of queer possibility. A Fossil’s Milk connects the prehistoric past with the far future as times enigmatic and unrealised.
